good, steady, consistent snowfall hits the Coastals for probably the first time this season, with a foot falling over Tuesday and Wednesday, peaking on Wednesday evening before starting again on Thursday. After a brief pause towards the end of this week, snowfall returns over the weekend with another 15cm expected down. Temperatures will remain cold staying well below freezing throughout this period.
Similarly cold temperatures will be in play in the BC Interior, however things will remain mostly dry throughout this period. Things turn really cold over the Rockies, with steady snowfall over Thursday and Friday to bring around 20cm to the region.
Mild temperatures over the St Lawrence will drop considerably over Wednesday and into Thursday, however not before precipitation has had a chance to fall as rain. Cold temperatures then bring snowfall into the weekend helping to top things up heading deeper into spring.
