After a more mild and dry couple of weeks things begin to turn for the better across the Scottish Highlands this week and into the weekend.
Temperatures will fall and unsettled weather will move in across the region especially over the Best West Coast – steady snowfall will land throughout Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, with around a foot expected down. Note that a coupe of bursts of rain can be expected at mid-mountain level, and gale force winds through the middle of this period will see a lot of movement across the ground. That being said, conditions are hopefully shaping up for an excellent weekend across the Highlands once again.
