Spring conditions will move in to dominate across the Swiss alps over the remainder of this week and through this weekend.

Sun will give way to cloud and more overcast conditions as the week concludes, with the freezing line rising as heat becomes trapped under this cloud ceiling. Spring-like freeze-thaw will become the main theme of the week.

Temperatures will drop to around 1,500m overnight, before climbing to 2,500m in the midday sun. The average will fall into the weekend, however, with the threat of s a few flurries of snowfall into the new week.
