Tignes Rep Report

Our Day

Two groups again today. Some of us opted to give La Face a go. A bit of a warm up around Grand Pré and Fontaine Froid before taking the plunge. It was in great shape and enjoyable to ski.
Then back to Tignes. We took the VC loop, stopping at Bollin for coffee. Then round Tichot, Gratteleau and up Aiguille Percée. Down to Paquis although one of the group shot ahead and missed us all waiting at the turn! So a bit of piling required by them and me to get to the lift. We had planned to go to Panoramic for lunch but energy levels were low so we stopped at Bollin. Then up to Grand Motte – there was no queue at 3;15 for the télécabine but the group decided they were too tired to do the extra do we took Génépi back to VC. We took our Val D’Isere friends back to the Follie then the rest of us returned to Bollin for a well earned drink in the sun.

Weather

The Saharan sand mist had dispersed and the sun shone. Clouds started to build.
