Our Day

More lifts were open today, but bad weather continued to hamper availability of slopes in Tignes. We had a good warm up run up and down Palafour, before striking out towards Val d’Isere up Toviere lift. Excellent skiing to be found off the back of Val d’Isere, with lunch at Edelwiess after a quick hop up from La Fornet. Afternoon saw us potter back towards Tignes Val Claret followed by leg-burners down Grand Motte and Les Lanches

Weather

Snow continued with rain down at lower levels. Low cloud kept many lifts closed and visibility poor. High of 3, low of -6.

A couple of terrific tumbles through deep and at times heavy snow! No injuries to report, just lots of laughter!
