Mount Buller has a good spread of runs to suit beginner, intermediate and advanced skiers.

There are also three terrain parks for skiers and boarders of all abilities. Beginners should utilise the Bourke Street magic carpet or the new six person Bourke Street Express chairlift to access the gentle runs from the top of these. Intermediates are well served in multiple areas but perhaps the highlight for intermediates are the runs emanating from the top of the Howqua and Koflers lifts. Advanced skiers should take the Summit chairlift to access the most difficult runs in the resort and also some challenging off piste terrain off the edge of the Fanny’s Finish run.

The Mt Buller Village offers a wide range of ski in, ski out accommodation to suit all budgets. In addition there are over 30 bars and restaurants which provide options ranging from quick snacks to fine dining and a choice of nightlife options. The resort is a three hour drive from Melbourne. If you’re driving you will have to factor in a relatively expensive park entry fee. Don’t forget to leave plenty of fuel in your car as there are no petrol stations in the park itself.
