The Premier Party is one of our most popular holidays. At the beginning of each season 70+ Ski Club members head out to Tignes and kick-start their season in style. Why not join us for this annual get together for the 2020/21 season? During the trip the group will enjoy six full days off piste with instructors and mountain guides. There will also be a Ski Club rep on the holiday, who will host a welcome meeting on the first evening of your trip. This is a great opportunity to meet the rest of the group and find out more about the week ahead.
ON SNOW EXPERIENCE
The holiday includes six full days of off piste skiing with either an instructor or mountain guide. This holiday is for Intermediate (Silver), Advanced (Purple) and Expert (Gold) Off Piste skiers. If you are unsure of your ski profile, please see our Ski Profile Page. Groups will be organised based on ski level, and there will be up to 6 members in each group. At the end of the week you will receive an updated grading from your Ski Club Rep.
Please be aware that you may be required to do some ski touring on this off piste holiday. Where possible the lift system will be used to access off piste terrain, however if you need to venture a bit further afield in order to access the best off piste conditions then your guide may suggest ski touring. This will all be dependent upon the conditions and the guides you have on your trip. As this is one of our larger holidays, there will be groups that may not want to participate in ski touring. If you would like to be in one of these group, please inform your Ski Club Rep at the beginning of the holiday.
Tignes shares the huge Espace Killy ski area with its neighbouring resort Val d'Isère. Between the two, there is 300km of piste skiing available to all abilities, from long gentle greens to some seriously steep off piste. Tignes has a laid back and friendly atmosphere with a lively après scene. For more information on Tignes, please visit the Ski Club’s in depth and recently updated Tignes Resort Guide.
If you require ski hire, we recommend Tignes Spirit. They offer a great discount for SC members. More information on how to hire your equipment and access this discount will be sent before your trip departs. You will then be able to pre-book online. your equipment will either be dropped off at the group hotel, or you will be collected from the hotel and taken down to the shop, before being ferried back to your accommodation when you are all kitted out!
If you own your own ski touring equipment, then it may be worth taking this with you on your trip. If you do not own your own kit, then this can normally be easily rented in resort. However, please be aware of the cost of hiring this equipment in resort.
