The Ski Club offers a range of policies tailored to suit any need - whether you are planning the trip of a lifetime, a weekend away with friends, or a half-term break with the family, we have the right policy for you. And whilst you're travelling the Alps or around the World, cover won't cost you the earth - all of our policies provide cover for skiing and snowboard off-piste, without a guide and outside of resort boundaries, as well as cover should you fall ill with COVID-19 either before or during your travels.

The Ski Club offers three levels of cover; our Gold and Diamond travel insurance policies, available as both single and multi-trip policies, and our Platinum Membership, which combines your Ski Club membership with an annual multi-trip travel insurance policy to offer exceptional value for money.


Gold & Diamond

Our Gold and Diamond policies are available as both on both single and multi-trip bases, and offer exceptional on-snow cover combined with comprehensive travel insurance. On annual multi-trip policies, you are covered for 45 winter sports days during the period of the policy.

For policies issued before 1 January 2022, these were issued with a COVID-19 endorsement, detailing - separate to the main policy wording - cover provided should you fall ill or are forced to self-isolate either before you travel or whilst abroad. Please note that this detail has now been written into the policy wordings where appropriate and the separate endorsement has therefore been removed.

Please be aware that there is no cover provided under any section of any Ski Club Travel Insurance policy if you are travelling against the advice of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).

You may need to declare medical conditions to our insurance providers to ensure that appropriate cover is available. Please read your policy documents carefully to understand exactly what may be required of you. Please contact the medical screening team on 0330 660 0749 for more information.

Making a Claim

Claims and personal information relating to claims are handled by  CSAL, a company external to the Ski Club and our insurance partners. 



Following the UK's departure from the European Union, you may be eligible for reciprocal healthcare whilst travelling in Europe under one of the following schemes:

EHIC (old) - if you hold a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) from before 1 January 2021, this may continue to be used until its expiry date to access reciprocal healthcare arrangements across the EU and Switzerland.

GHIC - a Global Health Insurance Card (GHIC) has been rolled out to replace the old EHIC in the EU and Switzerland. This is a direct replacement of the EHIC (old) for UK nationals resident in the UK.

EHIC (new) - the new European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) has been rolled out to replace the old EHIC in the EU and Switzerland. This scheme is for EU nationals living in the UK eligible for healthcare provision under the NHS.

Please note, the EHIC and GHIC schemes do not replace travel insurance for emergency care.
