The Ski Club of Great Britain has been connecting passionate skiers and mountain enthusiasts for more than 120 years. The club is the world’s oldest and largest snow sports membership organisation, with members not solely based in Britain, but far and wide across the globe.

What is the Rep Service?
Members often say that one of the best parts of joining the club is the Rep services. Need a ski buddy? Ski Club Reps are on hand in resorts across Europe and North America, ready to be just that; share a chat on the chairlift, discover perfect powder stashes, and the best places only the locals know for an après beer.

Repping Doubles in Gurgl
One of the club members’ favourite resorts is Gurgl, Austria’s premier destination for high-altitude and family-friendly skiing. Nestled in the Tyrol, this charming traditional village is among Austria’s highest ski resorts. Boasting over 110 km of pistes and just a 90-minute drive from Innsbruck, Gurgl offers an ideal getaway in every way.
The resort is so popular among members for meeting up with Reps that, starting this winter, the club will have two Reps on hand to provide service. With two ambassadors available, members have the opportunity to ski with different groups and explore a variety of skiing styles throughout the season.
How it Works
The club will provide a meeting place each day, where members can join the Rep for a day of skiing. While they’re enthusiastic ambassadors, they won’t guide or plan your day; instead, everyone decides together how and where to ski, shaping a mountain experience that matches the group’s mood and sense of adventure.
Plus, there’s an opportunity to meet up with fellow members in the resort at the daily social hour in the evening, to unwind, enjoy a drink and share stories from the day’s adventures. Or download the Ski Club app and virtually connect with fellow skiers in resort.
Freshtracks Holidays
