Current conditions:
This is thanks to a comprehensive snowmaking system and a top station almost reaching a lofty 4000m, making this one of the most snowsure resorts in Colorado. The terrain suits intermediates, but there is also some excellent hike-to terrain along the ridgelines and some hidden away steeps in between the marked runs.
There’s little else on the hill aside from a base lodge and a couple of spots for picnics, so you’ll need to stay elsewhere – Loveland is a great daytrip destination as a result. Fortunately, it is located right off I-70, the main road through the Colorado Rockies, so is easy to get to. Arapahoe Basin is nearby, as is Keystone, whilst Breckenridge is a little further to the west, past Silverthorne.
