Loveland is known as one of Colorado's highest, and snowiest ski resort with a summit of 3965m. This also gives it one of the longest seasons in North America.
The resort sits on the east side of the Eisenhower tunnel, spanning the North American continental divide. It's two bases give access to 1800 acres of terrain and 93 runs. The majority of the most advanced terrain is centered Loveland Basin base, while the Loveland Valley ski area better suits beginners.
it is located right next to highway I70, just east of the Continental Divide, easily reached from other Colorado resorts, especially Keystone. In addition, it is one of the closest resorts to Denver, resulting in large numbers of weekend visitors.
