Disability Snowsport UK (DSUK) is a national charity committed to creating an inclusive community by removing barriers to participation in sport. The charity strives to make snowsports accessible, inclusive, safe and enjoyable for people with physical, sensory and learning disabilities.

DSUK provides more than ski lessons. Participation builds confidence, independence, resilience and social connection. Many participants face daily barriers in education, employment and community life. With the introduction of adaptive snowsport, they develop skills, self-belief and a sense of belonging that transfers beyond the slope.
To get involved, join DSUK at one of their indoor centres. All centres have recreational groups who meet regularly, but additional upcoming events include:
At Manchester, a new DSUK Hub where anyone interested in adaptive snowsport can come and chat to the team, and become part of the community. A monthly Monday night event held across the summer months, which is specifically for members to enjoy the slope in a quieter, safe space.

At Tamworth, there are weekly Our Club children’s sessions, and the ever-popular Summer Session programme, where siblings can take part alongside one another, whether they have a disability or not.
At Hemel Hempstead, there are Group Performance Coaching Sessions to develop skiing or snowboarding skills beyond private tuition.

You can also find DSUK at local dryslopes including Rossendale, Surrey, Glasgow and Edinburgh, as well as up at the Cairngorms, where the snow has been fantastic this winter! There is something for everyone. So, if you would like more information on how you can experience the joy of snowsport, please contact the team at .
