The Blaze 86 offers an ideal combination of smooth “surfing” and light weight. As well as featuring a 3D radius sidecut, the Blaze 86 is built with a full tip-to-tail wood core, and an elasticated, rubbery suspension system in the tip and tail. This creates a light-weight, lively ski that holds its stability in in windblown and varied conditions. The Blaze 86 is ideal for sporty all-mountain skiers who want to go off-piste, and for classic freeriders and ski tourers who are happy to put up with an extra 100 g in exchange for significantly improved performance.

The Blaze, which has been a stalwart in this category for some time is a superb all mountain ski. At 86mm underfoot it works very well on piste but feels wider off piste to support you through the fluffy stuff and enables smooth and fun longer and shorter radius turns through windblown, refrozen, or generally more challenging off piste conditions.
