A welcome return to what Scott has traditionally done really well; all mountain skis with a penchant for shredding it in deeper powder. Featuring a metal plate in the core of the ski, it gives control and drive comparable to well established all mountain ranges. Lightweight, softer tips and tails allow it to pivot well in short turns, as well as give a certain forgiveness at the end of the turn designed to catch skiers and stop them falling out the back – very useful, too, for sudden changes in snow density that can catch the unsuspecting powder hound out! The sea is perhaps missing a little oomph for more expert skiers, but is a really good middle of the road wide all mountain ski. Excellent graphics to boot!
