The famous name is Madonna di Campiglio. But the SkiArea Madonna di Campiglio – Brenta Dolomites stretches beyond the resort, linking Madonna di Campiglio with Pinzolo and Folgarida Marilleva in one network of more than 150km of pistes.
One pass covers the lot, opening up three corners of the Brenta Dolomites and Val di Sole.
In Madonna di Campiglio, the lifts leave directly from town, with skiing on the doorstep and restaurants, boutiques and après-ski within easy reach. It’s the name with the international profile, known for its smart hotels, restaurants, boutiques and lively après-ski as much as its skiing. The skiing itself is varied, from easy cruising terrain to more technical runs, with the Ursus Snowpark adding jumps, rails and features for freestyle skiers.

Beyond Madonna di Campiglio, Pinzolo brings a different feel to the ski day. Doss – The Temple of Time is a new mountain-top park combining art, science and the geological history of the Dolomites, with panoramic views across the Brenta Dolomites. Around it, the skiing is more open and relaxed, with wide, sun-filled slopes and a mix of cruisy pistes that make it a good place to slow the pace and take in the views.
Further into Val di Sole, Folgarida Marilleva has a strong family focus, with parks and beginner areas equipped with games, moving walkways and dedicated staff. Children can work through their first turns while stronger skiers head for the wider network.

The mountain huts are another big part of the appeal. There are plenty to choose from across the network, from traditional rifugi to piste-side restaurants with large terraces and views across the Brenta. Some are worth seeking out specifically for the food; others for the setting. Either way, the huts give the ski day another dimension: lunch in a mountain hut is one of the highlights of skiing here, and with so much choice, it can be as much a part of the day’s plan as the skiing itself.

Once the lifts close, each of the three areas has its own way of carrying on the day. Madonna di Campiglio has its established après-ski scene and a strong choice of restaurants and wellness, while Pinzolo also has plenty of bars, restaurants and hotel spas. In Folgarida Marilleva, après-ski and evening entertainment continue after skiing, with restaurants, bars and events around the resorts.
On the busiest winter weeks, Scia Prima gives skiers the chance to get onto the slopes earlier, making the most of freshly prepared snow before the main rush.

There are also incentives to explore outside the busiest periods. The SkiArea runs promotional weeks throughout the season, with offers including discounted or bundled ski passes and flexible options such as the five-out-of-seven pass. For families with young beginners, the Kids on Ski programme provides children aged three to six with free accommodation, ski passes, lessons and equipment, included as part of the accompanying adult’s package.
For a week, it gives you plenty of scope to vary the skiing – different slopes, different views and different huts, with the whole network on hand.
