In this first session with WEMountain, we’ll take a big-picture look at the evolving ski and mountain landscape, from changing participation and terrain to advances in equipment and the growing impact of climate change.

What do these shifts mean for how we manage risk, and how we prepare for time in the mountains?

We’ll explore why modern, accessible mountain training is becoming increasingly important for everyone- from professional skiers, resorts, and brands to recreational skiers – and why better education could be key to protecting our freedom to explore and ride the mountains.

Expect an engaging look at the challenges facing the industry, the cultural shifts already underway, and what needs to change if we want to keep riding free.
