A Largely unspoiled, abate sprawling chalet resort close to Megève and Chamonix, with a fair-sized intermediate area and a good snow record for its height.
The main access lift is a shuttle-bus ride from the centre, with a few lodgings at its base. Most of the slopes are above the treeline and on both sides of the Col du Joly - from where a long red run descends over 1000m vertical. There's a good mix of blue and red runs, and substantial off-piste opportunities. Complete beginners are better off elsewhere though. The village is quiet with few amenities, but there are other sporting activities.
