Good snowfall comes to the German Alps this week, with around 25cm expected down over Tuesday and Wednesday – this will be aided by a plummeting freezing line helping snowfall hit many elevations.
A spike in this freezing line through the middle of the week will see a brief pause in snowfall, before snowfall returns again on Thursday; a further 20cm can be expected down, limited to upper elevations at first but descending in line with the freezing line over the course of the day.
Flurries then continue into the weekend before sun moves in, promising excellent skiing conditions for Sunday!
