The Highlands remain cold for much of this week, albeit much calmer on a snowfall front. A few flurries will move in over the Best West Coast through the middle of this week.

Temperatures will swing the wrong side of freezing as the freezing line climbs above 2,000m, and as precipitation moves in across the region this will fall as rain in many areas. Things then do cool off as the weekend concludes, dropping back below freezing at 1,000m overnight.
