There was about 15km of terrain open in both Levi and Ruka, with the famed terrain parks open in both. Ruka has seen light snowfall two evenings in the past week, while conditions on Tuesday 15th were overcast, cold with the possibility of fresh snow.
Are benefitted from 28cm of snowfall in the past 72 hours, welcome news given how this season has been lagging behind snowfall wise. Despite this, only roughly half the trails were operational, in part due to avalanche risk. There was heavy cloud cover on Tuesday 15th, with the possibility of light snowfall throughout the day over Salen.
As with much of the region, there was snowfall over the majority of our featured Norwegian resorts, although only light dustings for the most part, where it was predominantly resulting in soft snow over a hard base. However, Hafjell in Lillehammer saw a more impressive 15cm, while Voss was faring considerably better – reporting 40cm over the past 72 hours, giving the best conditions by far across the country.
