Getting here is the only slight issue, with a long transfer from Calgary (4.5 hours) or an internal flight to get here. This makes combining a visit here with a roadtrip to visit other resorts a good plan – resorts such as Banff (Lake Louise, Norquay and Sunshine Village) and Red Mountain or cat/heli skiing in the Kootenay Mountains. Once in Kimberley, there’s a good range of accommodation on offer at the base in the purpose-built mountain village or down in the valley below – but this would require a short drive or bus ride to the slopes.

A cold start to this forecast period rapidly turns mild as the week progresses, albeit remaining dry and steady across most of the Coastals, BC Interior, and Rockies, and indeed over the St Lawrence, too. The BC Interior will see some unsettled weather bring rainfall as the weekend approaches, with similar large downfalls expected in the East.
