This trip is an opportunity to experience one of Austria’s best kept secrets - the phrase ‘small resort, big terrain’ has never been more relevant. Tour an unexplored corner of Austria, escaping the crowds of nearby resorts. The famous mountaineering village is at the base of the Grossglockner, where the pioneering spirit of the early alpinists is still palpable, and you are never more than a stone’s throw from your next outdoor adventure.

Holiday price includes: 7 nights half board, 4* hotel, twin share, return scheduled flights, coach transfers, 6 days with mountain guides
Lift price information: 6 day adult- €

You’ll be spending 6 days skiing with local mountain guides, who’ll showcase the best of the area. You’ll use lifts to gain height then will set out on day tours most days – unless you hit a full week of powder. This trip is aimed at Advanced (Purple) and Expert (Gold) off piste skiers and touring enthusiasts. If you are unsure of your ski level, please see our Ski Profile Page. At the end of the week, you’ll receive an updated grading from your Instructor or Ski Club Rep.

The 4* Hotel National Park Lodge Grossglockner is located in the heart of Heiligenblut. You’ll be staying in twin share accommodation for 7 nights with half board catering. You are welcome to kick back and relax in the wellness facilities, and indulge yourself with the excellent food, served by friendly hosts.

Scheduled return flights are included in the trip. Ski carriage is payable at the airport only and cannot be pre-booked. Your Ski Club Representative will coordinate the transfer when you arrive at Salzburg airport. Please meet them in the main arrivals hall - they will be wearing their blue Ski Club jacket.

The ski area itself has 12 lifts and 55km of pistes plus a freeride arena comprising 1,500 hectares. Split into six freeride sectors the area offers multiple opportunities including four marked routes. On a powder day, this is where you'll spend most of your time. The resort is also the starting point of many high alpine ski tours to 3,000m summits. The area has a wild feel, and there is a good variety of terrain to challenge advanced and expert off piste skiers. For more information on Heiligenblut, please visit the Heiligenblut Resort Page.

If you require ski hire you can do this with Intersport Grossglockner, which is located in resort. You can pre-book this online prior to the holiday.
