ON SNOW EXPERIENCE
During this trip, you’ll spend three days skiing with a local instructor, and three days social skiing with your group. This trip is aimed at Aspirer+ (Red+) and Intermediate (Silver) off piste skiers, but you’ll get to explore the whole mountain, skiing both on and off piste throughout the week. If you are unsure of your ski level, please see our Ski Profile Page. At the end of the week, you’ll receive an updated grading from your instructor or Ski Club Rep.
Your 7 night stay will be on a half board basis in the prestigious ski in ski out Hotel FIS 4*. Ideally situated in the resort, it is just 20m from the nearest ski lifts. The hotel has been recently renovated and boasts a luxury swimming pool, sauna and hot tub to help you unwind after a long day on the hill.
Flights are not included with this trip, however there is a set group transfer from Poprad-Tatry airport. You will need to meet your Ski Club Rep in the arrivals hall at the airport; they will be wearing their blue ski club jacket. There is only one Wizz Air flight, which departs daily from London Luton Airport. The group transfer will be arranged to meet this flight.
In Jasná, Slovakia’s largest resort, skiers can enjoy up to 45km of groomed pistes and 12 off piste ski areas. The resort sits on the north of the Chopok mountain, where you’ll find ski routes suitable for all abilities. The real pull of Jasná, however, is the untouched freeriding potential. Whether you prefer steep, challenging terrain or open powder fields, you’ll find plenty of areas to explore. The off piste areas are often untracked and easily accessible from lifts, so you can spend less time hiking and more time carving fresh tracks. For more information on Jasna, please visit the Jasna Resort Guide.
If you need to hire equipment there is a small but well recommended ski hire shop 10 minutes walk from the hotel. It is simply called Ski Rental and is situated on Demänovská Dolina 296.
