Spend six days skiing off piste with top-level instruction to improve the skills that you already have, all in the fantastic French resort of Serre Chevalier. You’ll be spoilt for choice with plenty of tree-lined runs and open bowls. You may even get the opportunity to head over to La Grave and explore the expansive off piste terrain on offer!
ON SNOW EXPERIENCE
Explore the backcountry, tackle tree skiing and much more over 6 days of off piste instruction. Groups will be organised based on ski level. This trip is aimed at Aspirer (Red) to Intermediate (Silver) off piste skiers. If you are unsure of your ski level, please see our Ski Profile Page. At the end of the week, you will receive an updated grading from your Guide or Ski Club Rep.
Please be aware that you may be required to do some ski touring on this off piste holiday. Where possible the lift system will be used to access off piste terrain, however if you need to venture a bit further afield in order to access the best off piste conditions, then your guide may suggest ski touring. This will all be dependent upon conditions and the guides you have on your trip. If you are part of a large Freshtracks trip, with multiple groups, then there may be the opportunity for one group not to participate in any ski touring for the duration of the trip. If this is the case, please inform your Ski Club rep at the beginning of the trip, and they can assign groups accordingly. Please note that you will not require any prior ski touring experience to participate in this trip.
Often considered a hidden gem of the southern French Alps, Serre Chevalier is comprised of four villages sharing a huge 250km of high quality, varied terrain; offering a wonderful alternative for its northerly neighbours. For more information on Serre Chevalier, please visit our Serre Chevalier Resort Guide.
If you require ski hire, we recommend the Régis Sports 1 Chantemerle. This is located within a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Ski Club members can get a discount at this Ski set shop when pre-booking online through the Ski Club website.
