You can get a lot done in only four days with this Touring Skills holiday! This weekend is a fantastic opportunity to learn the basics of ski touring, mountain awareness and off piste techniques. You will even spend the last evening in a hut, getting the full touring experience!
ON SNOW EXPERIENCE
This trip includes four days with mountain guides. You’ll be split into groups of 6/7 based on your ski profile. This trip is aimed at Intermediate (Silver) to Advanced (Purple) off piste skiers. If you are unsure of your ski level, please see our Ski Profile Page.
This weekend is based at the simple, centrally located 2* Le Hotel Regina. There is a variety of excellent restaurants close by to dine out in the evening. You’ll be staying in twin share accommodation with B&B for 3 nights. The mountain hut will be determined by the guide closer to the time, pending conditions, and if you are given the go ahead there will be half board catering provided.
This holiday is on a twin share basis. If you are a solo traveler, then you will be placed in a room with someone of the same gender. Single rooms may be available upon request. These are subject to our hotel room allowance. If you require a single room, please book early to avoid disappointment. Please note that a single room will not be available for the last evening spent in a mountain hut (conditions dependent)
Travel is not included on this holiday in order to allow you to choose the most convenient travel arrangements. We would recommend arriving in resort no later than 18:30, as the Mountain Guides will be conducting a welcome meeting on the first evening before dinner. We would recommend flying into Geneva but please do not book flights until this holiday has been confirmed to run. Please feel free to contact the Freshtracks team on 020 8410 2022 for any further information.
The village of St Gervais has a laid back, peaceful centre with a historic background and a spa that dates back to Roman times. There is a good choice of hotels, restaurants, shops, cosy bars and a thermal bath. A 20-person gondola provides fast access from the village centre to Le Bettex, from where you can start skiing or take another gondola to Mont d’Arbois. The Evasion Mont Blanc lift pass gives access to six different ski areas, including Megeve and Combloux, where you can expect incredible views over Mont Blanc and long tree runs whilst exploring the further reaches of the ski area. For further information see our St Gervais Resort Guide.
