The Schilthorn Cableway project is entering its final phase and will be completed during the winter season. Most of the new connections are already operational, significantly improving speed, comfort, and accessibility throughout the area.

The iconic top-to-bottom skiing experience from Piz Gloria towards Mürren is once again possible. With upgraded infrastructure and breathtaking scenery, Mürren once again delivers outstanding alpine skiing at its very best.

Swiss Snow Happening

In April 2026, the Swiss Snow Happening is moving to Mürren! From 8–11 April 2026, the Swiss snow sports community will gather in Mürren to celebrate winter sports and crown the best snow sports instructors of the 2025/26 season. Spectators can look forward to exciting competitions in a wide range of disciplines, including formation skiing, ski and snowboard cross, giant slalom, slopestyle, big air, telemark sprint, and Nordic cross. The event brings together top-level performance, alpine tradition, and a lively atmosphere in the heart of the mountains.

Family & Winter Fun: What to do beyond Skiing

Mürren offers far more than just skiing. Families, non-skiers, and those looking for variety will find plenty of memorable winter experiences.

Enjoy a fast-paced bobsled descent from Allmenhubel to Mürren, take to the skies on a paragliding flight through the crisp alpine air, or discover the secret techniques of curling.
