The Ski Club is pleased to announce the launch of single trip limit extensions as part of your Platinum travel insurance policy. These extensions are available to increase the single trip limit on your policy from 31 days to either 60, 90 or 120.
With the purchase of a trip extension, your total permitted skiing days will also increase: up to 45 skiing days will be permitted per trip, and up to 80 skiing days total throughout the policy year.

Please read your policy documents carefully when taking out Ski Club Platinum Insurance and Membership; key bits are summarised here, but it is essential you fully understand the cover provided under Ski Club Platinum Insurance and Membership.
If you are not happy with the cover provided, all Ski Club Travel Insurance and Platinum Membership packages offer a no questions asked cancellation period of 14 days from the time you take out the policy.

We have five age categories available, designed to offer the best value for your needs. These are:
Age limits and appropriate categories are evaluated only when taking out a policy using your age at that time; transitions between categories will be assessed at your next renewal.
You must read your policy documents carefully to ensure that the cover provided is suitable for your wants and needs. There is a 14-day cooling off period, during which you may cancel your policy for a full refund of all premiums paid, if the insurance provided as part of our Platinum Membership does not meet your demands and needs. Please be aware that there is no cover under any section of the policy provided as part of Platinum Membership for travel in relation to a destination to which the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office has advised against all or all but essential travel.
Our Platinum Membership provides an Activity Pack that is very comprehensive โ this includes skiing/snowboard, off piste, without a guide and outside of resort boundaries, as well as heliskiing, cat skiing, touring and telemarking. It also includes all amateur (i.e. not for money, prizes, FIS points, etc) racing and race training. From 1st Jan 2024 further Activity Packs are not available to upgrade to. It is therefore important that when purchasing your policy you understand that the Activity Pack provided as standard meets your needs for your trips over the next 12 months.

Youย mayย need to declare medical conditions to our insurance providers to ensure that appropriate cover is available. Please read your policy documents carefully to understand exactly what may be required of you. Please contact the medical screening team onย 0330 660 0749ย for more information. This can be done either before or after you complete the joining or upgrade process.
Please note, if you do declare medical conditions to our insurers, these must be renewed each year alongside your annual travel insurance and membership. Should you develop any new conditions, an existing condition changes, or you suffer injury, you must update the medical screening team as soon as possible in line with the policy terms.
