Brixen is ideally located to get straight into the heart of the SkiWelt, with a gondola and a chair whisking your right to Zinsberg, from which you can reach all corners of the ski area. The village itself is rather spread out, but it well connected to the lifts via an efficient ski bus system and there’s a great range of family-friendly accommodation. The town is generally quiet, but if you’re after après ski, the lively town of Westendorf is a short bus or taxi ride away.
