TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Any Member wishing to ski/snowboard with a Ski Club Group, in any of the resorts where the Ski Club is represented, agrees to do so under the following conditions:
This itinerary is intended as a guide to give an overview of the trip, and some fine details may be adjusted slightly.
Stay at Banff Park Lodge, with 2.5 days of skiing with your rep at either Lake Louise or Sunshine Village, depending on where the best snow conditions are.
A late afternoon transfer will then take the group to Kicking Horse at approximately 1630.
Three days of skiing in Kicking Horse with your Ski Club Rep. For these days you will be staying at the lovely Copper Horse Lodge in Golden. Spend three days exploring a world-renowned Canadian adventure destination in Golden, British Columbia, best known for its legendary mountain resort featuring rugged, high-alpine ski terrain and deep powder.
Now based in Revelstoke for the final step of an incredible Powder Safari you are located in Revelstoke – a world-class adventure destination in British Columbia, renowned for boasting the longest vertical drop of any ski resort in North America at 1,713 metres (5,620 feet). Nestled between the Selkirk and Monashee mountains along the Columbia River, “Revy” is a legendary haven for deep powder skiing, and lift-accessed backcountry.
You will spend four days here skiing with your Ski Club rep exploring what Revelstoke has to offer.
Most people base themselves there, especially if you’re looking for a livelier atmosphere as Lake Louise itself is very quiet. Along with Sunshine Village and Mt Norquay it forms the “Ski Big 3”, all of which are covered by the same lift pass and are linked by a bus service – although having a car will certainly help.
John Dickinson, June 24, 2025
The Canadian Powder Safari is exactly what it says on the tin!12 days of fabulous skiing at some of Alberta & BC’s finest. It really felt like we had 3 completely different holidays in 1. From the pretty bustling town of Banff we skied the cruisy runs of Sunshine and the more demanding terrain in Lake Louise which in the right conditions offers some magnificent chutes and tree skiing. Our inter-resort transfers were seamless and ensured we optimised ski time at each location.
Next stop Kicking Horse which feels a little bit like going back in time but that can’t be said for the skiing. There’s nothing here for the faint hearted - steep and challenging and all within the controlled boundary. Finally bring on Revelstoke and unquestionably my favourite. A real mix from corduroy groomers to steep blacks, trees and bowls with one of the best snow records in Canada - last season saw over 10 metres of snow! There’s an option to take a guide and go back country touring here, too.
