Fans flock to the region to catch a glimpse of the impressive competitions held. Aside from January, Schladming tends to be an untrodden path for general skiers. The altitude is lower than other Austrian counterparts; however, this can mean shorter lift queues and quieter slopes. With four linked mountains to explore, not one day will be the same.
Schladming also benefits from a short and easy transfer from Salzburg, in just one hour. This makes the ski resort an attractive choice for a short trip or ski weekend. The varied slopes will ensure a diverse and exciting trip, making Schladming a great choice for a winter getaway.
